METAIRIE, La. -- New Orleans Pelicans general manager Dell Demps says the club has recalled rookie forward Cheick Diallo from the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.The 6-foot-9 Diallo was acquired by New Orleans in a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers during the second round of the NBA draft in June.The former Kansas forward has appeared in six games with Austin, averaging 14.3 points on 55 percent shooting from the floor, 6.7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.Diallo had 20 points in a game twice while with Austin, as well as one double-double and three games with as many as four blocks.Diallo has appeared in one regular-season game for New Orleans but played just six minutes.
